Social Media Marketing Chat with Torrance CitiCABLE

Today, I made an appearance on a local cable TV news story about social media.

Regarding the cost and choice of marketing on Facebook, the truth is, it's tough to explain a lot of "it depends" answers in a quick sound-bite. TV news is all about bite-size chunks, so the whole story is often never told on air. The reporter asked me whether I'd recommend Twitter or Facebook for local marketing if a small business has to choose only one platform. I offered Facebook as my answer due to its powerful targeting options for advertising, even on a relatively small budget.
